The departments of Social Welfare and Development and Employment submitted a proposal to be discussed at the next plenary session to be held on Tuesday 28 April, to expand the coverage of Municipal Service Support Standing (SEAPA) to people come from the special autonomy.
The plenary gave the green light at its meeting last March at the creation of Municipal Service and Support to Unemployed as a concrete action and specific provision to strengthen and complement others being developed at state, regional and municipal levels to alleviate the scarcity of economic resources and social integration problems that have a significant number of locals unemployed given the crossing according to the current period of economic crisis, as the council recalled Development and Employment, Trini Cayuela.
In this way, and taking into account the commitment and obligation of the City of Totana the coverage of this service understand and address the largest possible number of cases and people who have a desperate need by the situation of unemployment, given the reality labor market, this extension is requested in order to respond effectively to this problem, as the mayor stressed.
Therefore, from both municipal departments are requested to extend the coverage of potential recipients and beneficiaries of SEAPA except for the requirement of prior registration in the SEF as unemployed for not less than 6 months in the case of unemployed persons coming from the special regime self-employed because they did not include any subsidy benefit and unemployment.
