The Department of Health, through the Program for Prevention of Childhood Obesity, "has recently taught in Kindergarten Clara Campoamor, a talk about healthy habits relating to children aged 1-3 years.
The talk was given by the nutritionist of the municipal department, and was attended by parents of children in this center.
The contents of this talk focused on recommendations for parents, how to be a diet in childhood, tips for the day to day, and the answer to all sorts of questions that parents wanted to make.
These actions are being part of the program for Prevention of Childhood Obesity that develops in the city of Totana through the Department of Health and by a grant awarded by the Regional Service Training and Employment Department Education, Training and Employment and co-financed by the European Social Fund.
Among the activities being undertaken in the latter part of the intervention will include various lectures and dynamic activities with children in schools and nursery schools where the program is accepted and where they try to make children aware of habits right to development and growth
From the Department highlighted the high level of participation by parents who attended the talk, focusing on the appreciation of the professional who gave it by the high attendance of parents and the school management for showing interest in the contents of the session.
