More than 700 children and youth of the town of Totana have participated in the Days of Popular Games and Sports Alternative, framed within the Week of Health and Physical Activity and organized by the Department of Sports, which is being developed from yesterday's fairgrounds.
The councilman of Deportes, José Antonio Valverde Queen, visited this morning to more than 300 students from all schools in Totana sixth grade, who have participated in over twenty games organized by students in the top module Technician Animation in Sports and Physical Activities (TAFAD) of the Instituto Miguel Hernández de Alhama de Murcia.
TAFAD director, Paul Joseph Costa, and the teacher responsible for Participatory Games module, Lazaro Gimenez, explained that during these two days have been more than 20 students who have directed the popular games to the children of the municipality.
Thus, future monitors and Totana children have participated in two days of living with the sport in a healthy and attractive.
For his part, Councillor for Sports explained that until Friday, when healthy breakfast will take place and the walk will be over 2,000 young people and children who participate in activities.
During yesterday participated in the day schools of Secondary Education "La Milagrosa", "Reina Sofia", "Juan de la Cierva" and "Prado Mayor."
In addition, the centers were developed in talks for schoolchildren in the third cycle of primary and junior secondary schools on First Aid and Healthy Eating, taught by Red Cross volunteers and members of the Association of Health of Emergency of Murcia and by the Technical Department of Health of the City of Totana, M ª Dolores Carrasco.
