The Department of Housing and Town Council of Totana Heritage has applied for a grant to the Department of Public Works for the conservation program and adequacy of facades and medians of nine buildings and homes in several streets of the town.
In total, as explained by the Councillor for Housing, Daniel Aroca, has requested an amount of 320,679 euros to subsidize the construction of these buildings, among which is the Casino of the town, situated at Vidal Abarca.
The Autonomous Community subsidizes 75 percent of the total value of works, while owners should finance the remaining 25 percent under the regular order of the bases for awarding grants to local government.
As adopted in the Local Government Committee last week, the total budget for the renovation of the facades of the nine buildings amounts to 427,572 euros.
With this grant, will remodel three homes on Main Street Triana, two in the street Vidal Abarca, two in the street Antonio Garrigues, a street in Santiago and one in the General Street Aznar.
