Totana City Council has begun the process of awarding the work financed by the Local Investment Fund for the construction of the new municipal public library, to be located in the neighborhood of El Parral, near the Point of Care for Children "Doña Pepita López Gandía.
Work on the project, which was drafted by the municipal architect, Francisco Barnes Romero, amounting to 601,589 euros, will be completed before the end of this year.
The new library building will be built on an area of 418 square meters, will be projected on two floors with a total built area of 613 square meters.
In the upper floor to house the library with two distinct sections, one for adults and a child, and the plant will be located below a study room of 66 square meters, with capacity for 60 people.
