The Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration of the Autonomous Region of Murcia has recently awarded a grant to the City Council of Totana, amounting to 121,968 euros to provide equipment to the "Center Child Care" in the Industrial Estate "The Saladar."

With this new center is intended to meet the needs expressed by workers in "The Salt marsh" and will house four classrooms for about a total of 70 children in the municipality of 0 to 4 years.

The new center, located in a municipally owned parcel of over 1,800 square meters in the Performance Unit 2 (UA-2), New Street Gardens, where 700 of them are constructed area for classrooms, will enable the implementation of effective and realistic policies to reconcile family life and the municipality, especially among workers in the industrial area of Totana.
