The councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, and the consuls of Ecuador, Patricio Garcés, and Bolivia, Nicolas Davila, presided over the celebration of the first meeting of the Carnival Comparsa de Gatita Cañarí in the town of Totana, which was attended more than 1,600 people.
The ceremony was also attended by the President of the National Federation of Ecuadorians in Spain (FENADEE), Santiago Morales, and the Federation of Associations of Immigrants in the region of Murcia (FASIMUR), Juan Carlos Lucero, a candidate Ecuador Assembly to the municipal movement, Carmen Ballagas, and the presidents of the Associations FAE, Fabian Pichazaca, and Culture and Dance Cañarmanta, Luis Antonio Quishpilema as well as representatives of the Municipal Service Immigration and Social Services City of Totana.
