Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, attended last Saturday tasting desserts made by women of the Association of Amas and Amos House "Same-Da" by The Paretón to commemorate the International Day Women "at the Social Centre" Juana Serrano "in the hamlet.
The more than thirty women who attended the lunch-coexistence participated in a talk about healthy habits which was delivered by a nutritionist.
After this, the neighboring local desserts tasted accompanied by coffee, chocolate and tea.
The mayor of Women and Equal Opportunities and Board members were handed a gift to each of the women who participated in the preparation of homemade desserts.
Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities congratulated all women and men of the partnership for work done throughout the year and encouraged to continue working on the same line to "get a much more egalitarian world."
He also praised the work done in painting and crafts classes for women held weekly at the Center for Civic Participation and whose works were exhibited at the Community Center during the Saturday lunch-coexistence.
