The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the Councillor for Education, Trini Cayuela, accompanied by the center's director, David Romar, this morning visited the facilities of the College of Education and Primary "Luis Pérez Rueda, located in the Camilleri Tirol district to meet the educational needs, both in infrastructure and services.
The mayor informed the center director and officials of the Association of Parents of the center to revive the school with the implementation of school bus services.
The services provided at the College, as reported by the center's director, are going to be extended with the launch of dining service safely begin next year, as the Health Department has seen this week good service.
The mayor of Education explained that this is a well-equipped center, double line, with a total of 18 classrooms for teaching (6 for 12 for Early Childhood and Primary), 6 small-group classrooms, 2 computer rooms, a library, auditorium, staff room, dining room and kitchen, sports hall and sports center, in addition to access and furniture adapted for people with mobility problems.
This center has a capacity for 450 students opened in December 2007, currently has more than one hundred school children with 13 teachers, and was funded by the Autonomous Region with a budget of nearly three million euros.
