The Department of Sports organized on Sunday a hiking route along the spectacular road to Caracol in the Natural Park of Sierra Espuña in which 22 walkers led by the environmental technician Javier Ramirez delighted with explanations of history, flora and fauna.
The route, high difficulty of 14 miles, began at half past nine in the recreation area of The Partridge.
From there, hikers climbed up a firewall in a very hard due to the high slope that lasted for two miles.
From there, he bonded with Mangueta hill path and the path of Caracol.
There, the walkers had lunch to gather strength ahead of the ascension of the stairs, great engineering work of Ricardo Codorníu to save the large gap.
Then they ascended the hill Blanco, the bell of Alhama and then walked down the forest path and a path to the recreation area of The Partridge where he hoped the bus back.
The next outing will be held on April 19 and will run through the Sierra de Carrascoy, municipality of Sangonera La Verde.
