A total of 26 children of Totana participated last weekend in the Regional Final Badminton School, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia and Murcia Badminton Federation.
The results were spectacular totaneros representatives, with seven regional championships in different categories and procedures called.
In the junior category, IES Prado Mayor "won first place in the team competition, Maria Martinez, Jesus Mateos, Jorge Rojo, Andrea Ariza, Inmaculada Hernandez and Eva Mendez.
While in the doubles category, the pairs formed by Andrea Ariza, Eva Hernandez (IES Prado Mayor ") and Sergio Bravo, Diego Carrión (Colegio" La Milagrosa "), also managed to climb to the top of the podium.
Cadet category also achieved good results, as the first set of couples Marina Raquel Garcia-Perez (IES "Juan de la Cierva") and Daniel Canovas, Juan Daniel Sanchez (IES Prado Mayor "), in the form of doubles.
Finally, at junior, IES Prado Mayor over regional champion in the form of equipment, Francisco Cánovas, Miguel Tárraga, Juan Daniel Sanchez, Ana Maria Lopez and Isabel Sola.
The latter two players also earned first place in the doubles category.
The competition ended with the presentation of trophies to all the winners, by the general director of Sports in the Region of Murcia, Antonio Peñalver.
