Users and technical professionals Municipal Service Totana Psychosocial Support (SAP) have recently made a visit to the Centre of Urban Solid Waste Management, located in the village of Cañada Hermosa Murcia.
During this output to the Center of Urban Solid Waste Management, participants could see the importance of recycling and the need for environmental conservation.
They also had the opportunity to board a train, and made a tour of all facilities, plant selection and separation of organic matter, composting plant, the landfill and biogas plant.
After the site visit, participants received a briefing on the process of treatment, recycling and disposal of all waste generated in the locality and the processing of organic waste into compost or use of the gases to generate electricity.
This visit is part of the SAP project outputs with objectives such as knowledge of the environment, the approach to current realities such as energy and environment for people with mental health diagnosis.
The day was assessed positively by the SAP users and experts, and have indicated that as from this service, "has raised the sensitivity to important aspects such as those surrounding the environment, recycling and urban health."
Thus, from the service have expressed their appreciation to the Occupational Center and the Residence "La Purisima" by facilitating the transport medium that makes possible the achievement of these outputs so important.
