The children's carnival parade, scheduled for this afternoon, will be held on Tuesday 24 February, after four-thirty in the afternoon.
This has been agreed the Department of Culture, the AMPAS and education community members of different schools in the town, at a meeting held this morning in an extraordinary way by bad weather.
Regarding the adult parade, the Councillor for Culture, Ana Belén García, is reportedly planning to hold a meeting tomorrow, Saturday February 21 at 10:00 am with members of the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval de Totana, to decide the conclusion of the parade, depending on weather conditions
Hundreds of students from eleven schools, including nursery schools and Early Childhood Education and Primary planned parade through the principal streets of the town of Totana in the children's carnival parade this afternoon at four thirty pm from the fairgrounds .
The parade will travel on Tuesday Street San Antonio, Bridge, the Plaza of the Constitution, the General Aznar street, the street Encomienda, Rambla de La Santa, the Puente de Los Frailes, and end Calvo Sotelo in the street next to City Park "Marcos Ortiz."
Schools participating in the parade are the Infant School "Carmen Baró" Infant School "Doña Pepita Lopez" Infant School "Clara Campoamor" College "Luis Perez Rueda" School District "Deitania" College "Santa Eulalia" College "La Cruz" College "Santiago," the College "La Milagrosa" College "Tierno Galván" Colegio "San José", and the Colegio "Reina Sofia".
