The six working groups, comprising more than 50 associations and organizations in all areas of the county, will start work next week on the Local Strategic Plan "Growing Totana 2013," through which it seeks to shape the future of the municipality.
The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, accompanied by the coordinator of the Plan, Fabian Escarabajal, welcomed the members of the working groups that met in the Consistory to know the method to be developed in working hours and how they work the same.
To explain the details of the Strategic Plan Consistory moved to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Joseph Daniel Buendía, Secretary of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Juan Ortín, responsible for the research project is coordinated by the University of Murcia .
The main objective of the Plan, as experts said, is to project the town of Totana in the future so as to ensure the successful growth and quality of life and welfare of its citizens.
Thus, it is planning the development of Totana in all its aspects from now until 2013 provided the foundation to turn the town into a regional reference.
The six tables are divided by areas of activity.
So that it has the planning table, roads, basic and communications, the table of rural development and natural resources, the table of economic sectors, business diversification and innovation, the management board and municipal finance; table quality of life (social welfare, culture and leisure), and the table of population and employment.
