The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, has urged the president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura, José Salvador Fuentes Zorita, to undertake the necessary steps to proceed with drafting the dam of Lebor, with In order to avoid major damage and destruction caused in this area of the municipality in times of heavy rainfall as a result of floods in the promenade of this hamlet, which cause economic loss.
Thus, the mayor has taken the president of the Segura basin demands made by the Neighborhood Association Lebor, agricultural and livestock organizations Totana and neighborhood residents in the area in general, and the need to begin work for drafting the dam projects.
The construction of this infrastructure, as pointed Martínez Andreo, is a historical debt of central government with the town of Totana, "that no government has responded decisively."
