Sociocultural Association of Women has begun efforts Totana 2009 with the completion of several courses, among which the theater workshop and reading and storytelling.
The president of the Association, Concepción del Moral, has reported that the theater workshop has been established through a grant awarded by the Ministry, Youth and Sports for an amount of 2,500 euros.
With this funding, according to the president, the Association will seek to promote and foster the culture of the theater among its members and all people interested in this type of workshop.
The objectives to be achieved with the completion of this course is to bring users the theater, develop techniques of physical expression, speech and oral expression, to promote the memory of older people, and promote, from the participation and management women, all kinds of development activities aimed at achieving progress in social improvement.
This workshop is held on Monday each week through June inclusive, so that all who are interested in participating can contact the association that is located on Calle Gómez Archpriest Pellicer (in the upper BBVA)
In addition, the group of women also is underway thanks to grant amounting to 900 euros by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the reading workshop and storytelling.
Also are pursuing taichi, theater, guitar, painting, crafts, embroidery, gymnastics stretches and also will be making some discussions on the situation of women in areas such as reconciliation of work and family, economy and employment, quality of life, communication.
All these activities take place in the afternoon from 16:00 to 21:00.
