Five members of the Executive Committee Cebag, among which were its President, José Luis Hernández, the Secretary and the Chairmen of Totana Merchants Association, Union of Farmers and Ranchers of Lower Guadalentín (COAG) and Artisans Association, have held this morning in a meeting with the Director General of Planning of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Antonio Navarro, in conjunction with the General Urban Plan of Totana, Cebag sources said in a statement.
Cebag representatives briefed the Director General of Planning of the general's position in relation to Cebag PGMO of Totana, which is reflected in the general argument and more than 7,000 individual claims submitted between late May and early Last June, in relation to provisional approval of the Plan by the City of Totana.
Cebag representation to the Director General has given a complete dossier of allegations Cebag general and sectoral Plan for which, if not incorporated, are taken into consideration in the application file for final approval of the Plan to be reviewed by the Directorate General of Urbanism in the coming months.
Antonio Navarro Cebag informed that the file relating to PGMO of Totana, had been referred to the Autonomous City of Totana the end of the year and was currently suspended from further processing by not having it with the required approval environmental impact study by the Ministry of Environment.
As reported by the Director General of Planning, once the record of Totana PGMO with the approval of environmental impact of the competent organ of the Autonomous Community, start the assessment services "background" of the record to assess whether the account or not with all the mandatory documents.
Asked by the representatives of Cebag on the time required to make that initial assessment of the record, the Director General has refused to make a forecast because it indicated they were unaware when they will produce the approval of environmental impact study, and which can subsequently be the possible nature of any shortcomings of the very extensive documentation of the Plan, the assessment does not begin the services of the Directorate until such documentation is received environmental approval.
Cebag President, José Luis Hernández, thanked the Director General of its willingness to know the position of the Confederation as a starter and representing more than half of its submissions to the Plan and to inform them of the status of processing of the .
While it has been made available to explain in detail, at the time, the technical reasons why Cebag considered not to proceed to the approval of Totana PGMO currently drafted, the time has interested in the history and viability of a hypothetical partial approval of the Plan to include only the original village.
Because, as explained later José Luis Hernández, "it would provide a medium-term release of small construction activity promoted both by the users themselves as small businesses in the sector in the urban case."
