The City Council and the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers signed an agreement of cooperation on public security for the performance of special services being developed in the town of Totana.
This initiative by the Department of Public Safety was approved by the Local Government Board at its last meeting.
Through this agreement, Civil Protection will continue to work with the City to provide assistance in this matter by numerous performances, among which the participation of this group of volunteers in various social and humanitarian events that take place in the town throughout the year.
Among the commitments made by the Group of Civil Protection through the signing of the agreement include intervention for municipal and forest fires (Fire Support), 24 hours, 365 days a year, and also have a Route Service Urban Environment monitor or irregular schedule areas in the town of Totana and adjacent.
Similarly, Civil Protection will have a monitoring service in the parking lot of Santa (Sunday morning) and at the same time oversee the barbecue and other areas, frequented throughout the year.
On the other hand, the Friday in Paretón be mounted a surveillance at the weekly market, and must have available the Municipal Emergency Service SEM
Thus, the Association of Civil Defence Volunteers of Totana must have to perform special services throughout the material and personnel listed above.
For its part, the City will pay 50,000 euros annually to the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers of Totana in aid to cover the costs incurred in the implementation of Special Services.
