The Plenum of the Municipal Corporation on Tuesday will debate a motion on January 27 by the Department of Social Welfare which proposes that the City of Totana join the commemoration of World Day for Rare Diseases to participate in events taking place on Feb. 28.
To commemorate the first World Day for Rare Diseases, the majority of countries in the world, European Association Eurodis to the head, seek out a cry of solidarity towards those affected and thus develop a social awareness campaign to give visibility to the serious problem public health implications of these pathologies.
In addition, the motion to be debated tomorrow include the Consistory to adhere to the Declaration of Principles for State Pact for Rare Diseases.
The pact proposed by the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases is intended as part of a comprehensive and multisectoral in Spain that allows removing barriers and ensuring the rights of citizens in the process from research to access to health resources.
