More than 500 local youths benefit from psychosexual counseling services offered by the Department (22/01/2009)

The Psychosexual counseling for young people the Youth Council of the City of Totana offers service and personalized guidance (either individually or in groups) on issues related to sexuality and emotions, which is to promote the personal, social and cultural rights of people seeking advice.

Training Programs offered from the Psychosexual counseling, provide an information and training aimed at analyzing and facilitating decision-making and decisions in the adolescent stage.

Aim to facilitate the young recipients, the analysis of reality and personal implications and improve interpersonal communication, facilitating the psychosexual maturation.

These programs are aimed at pupils of Secondary Education of Schools of Totana, as well as municipal associations and groups of youth workers.

Topics addressed include self-esteem and body image, social skills and improving communication and affective-sexual education, with a total of 320 youth who have benefited from this program.

The public service, has been paid for every Wednesday and last Thursday of each month at evening, in the Socio-Cultural Center "The Jail", and the number of people served from 239 last year.

This personalized service, which is free, will run for this year, and young people between 12 and 35 who require to use it, please contact the Department of Youth in Socio-Cultural Center "La Prison" in time Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 h.

and Monday and Wednesday from 17 to 20 hours to request an appointment.
