The departments of Women and Equal Opportunities and New Technologies have reported the completion of the two basic computer courses were held in the hamlet of El Paretón during the months of November and December.
These courses have been organized by the Women's area in order to encourage this type of training to women.
The courses, lasting 20 hours, were conducted in groups of six people in the rural classroom Paretón Internet.
The students were trained on basic management of the computer through the Windows operating system and Internet.
One group held its formation on November 11 to 23 and the other did the 25 October to 20 December.
Councilwoman Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, stressed the importance for many women are assuming the training related to access to new technologies as information and communication technologies are playing an increasingly important role in economic and social development.
In this regard, the mayor has said that from his Department will continue to pursue this type of training, since this is covered by the second Plan of Equal Opportunities between women and men of Totana.
