The City Council of Totana, through the Department of Public Works and Employment, has hired, thanks to a grant through the Regional Employment Service and Training in the Region of Murcia, six construction workers and an officer of masonry work in reclamation works in the street sidewalks Asturias and others are damaged.
This grant financed by the European Social Fund, which is framed within the program of Development of Local Public Employment and Institutional, has a total amount of € 75,000 which will be allocated to pay the Social Security payroll of these new workers who have an employment contract expiring on 29 June.
The councilman of Promotion and Employment, Trini Cayuela, has reported that this grant is requested under the measures that the City Council are doing to mitigate the impact of the crisis in Totana.
Thus, explained that the generation of employment in the municipality is the mainstay of the local economy and should continue working to promote economic resources able to generate jobs for the unemployed.
This grant was aimed at unemployed and registered at the Employment Office in order to gain work experience and improve the employability of the same and directed with attention to priority groups in labor demand.
