Totana Senderista Club has organized for the 25th of January, the 4th edition of the Subida al Morrón of Espuña.
This route will be non-competitive walkers, and will depart at 7 and a half in the morning from the door of the City of Totana, into the path of the turret to reach the sanctuary of Santa on the path of the pipes of the box.
From there you walk up to the locality of the farms where the organization of Sendero de Totana club will provide all participants with balls broth and wine.
The march will continue into the oak, to ascend the hill of Don Eleuterio and reach the Tower of the Rangers at the top of Morrón of Espuña about 2 pm.
The organization expects to exceed the number of participants last year, estimated at 156 people who made it last year to the highest peak in Sierra Espuña.
The route has a distance of 23 kilometers and will exceed a height difference of 1240 meters.
The price of the activity is free, participants will only be paid as charged by the bus down to Totana.
Although pre-registration is not required, the organization should send an E mail to clubsenderistatotana @ hotmail.
com to manage the bus seats.
