The Department of Consumer Affairs through the Office of Municipal Consumer Information, OMIC, Totana has offered a series of recommendations to consumers and users to perform traditional purchases at the time of sales, in the case of the Region Murcia days elapse between January 2 and March 6, inclusive, according to sources in the department.
From this office are reminded that discounts should not be confused with other types of sales as sales of stocks (products whose value is diminished by the deterioration or damage thereof), clearance sales (total or partial closures of business or change local) and offers products that are applied to promote them through any sales claim.
According to these recommendations, we note that the reduction in commodity prices can never lead to a decline in their quality, so it is necessary to maintain the same quality standards, labeling, pricing and guarantees, among other requirements .
You are also advised to observe the appropriateness of the information contained in product labeling, such as composition, technical descriptions and instructions for use, among others, which sometimes are more important than prices themselves.
The consumer should be careful not to focus only on price but on other aspects such as quality and security of articles, examine the product thoroughly before removing it, check the previous price and the lowered, preserving evidence of offers and lists prices (advertising, writing, etc.) and require proof of purchase.
In addition, it is recalled that the establishments are required to support the same means of payment, which usually have outside sales time (credit cards, deadlines, etc.) and those who are attached to the Consumer Arbitration System to provide an added guarantee sale in the case of processing a claim, since it can be settled more quickly and efficiently.
