The Plenum of the Corporation will meet tomorrow at nine in extraordinary session to discuss the possible creation of an alternative route to the current AVE passing through the town.
This plenary session responds to the first claim raised by the platform to the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, the councilor of Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia, and Councilman of the villages and roads, Juan Pagan, at the meeting with the question which took place at the Town Hall on 2 January.
On that day of work, those affected sought the support of all the social, political and municipal associations to jointly safeguard the interests of the town of Totana, since the platform members understand that the current route of the AVE does not respond to general interests of the locality, both economic and industrial.
However, political groups of the Corporation shall decide tomorrow on accession to the platform and the negative consequences entailed by the current route of the AVE to the municipality.
