The Emergency Department activated the orange level until tonight for the first snowfall of the year in Sierra Espuña (08/01/2009)

The Emergency Department has activated this morning noon and until midnight tonight the orange level for the first snowfalls have been recorded in the town of Totana.

The road linking the town to the Natural Park of Sierra Espuña has been cut this morning at the height of The Forest Stables by the agents to stop a vehicle had an accident with the plates of ice that can form new heights.

A Civil Protection Brigade Totana has moved to the area to launch the emergency protocol for such situations.
