The Directorate General of Housing of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and Totana City Council have signed a collaboration agreement for the restoration of the facades, roofs and medians included in the first phase of rehabilitation of streets and Mayor Triana Abarca Vidal .
The Department of Housing has reported that, in this first phase, it will proceed with the restoration of the facades of two buildings located on Main Street Triana, the number 2 and 8, the project amounts to a total of 151,739 euros.
The Autonomous Community has awarded a grant of 75 percent of all of this work, 113,804 euros, and 25 remaining to be paid by the owners of the property.
As explained Councillor for Housing, Daniel Aroca, this action will improve the quality of life for the residents of this area projecting a better image of the older buildings and, at the same time, these works will employ a much-needed sector such as construction.
This is the first action to be carried out in this area, in addition to comprehensive rehabilitation to be held in the district of San Roque, whose funding bill has been passed weeks ago and will remodel 40 facades of buildings in the area.
