The councilman of Culture, Ana Belén García, was present at the presentation of the book "Among the alloza" totanero writer Juan Ruiz Garcia, in an act that was developed in the Socio-Cultural Center "The Jail", which was preceded by a concert poetry, which was conducted by the Group poetic "Seed Fund" and other poets from different locations.
The presentation of the book "Among the alloza", whose cover is illustrated by a painting of the artist embodies totanera Almagro, was given by the mayor and Antonio Rodríguez Hernández, who won the literary competition "Jail" in 2000.
This work is the first solo release, produced by the totanero Juan Ruiz Garcia, whom the mayor gave his most sincere congratulations on a job well done.
The book contains about a dozen short stories that reflect the lives and experiences of its author, who has participated in numerous regional publications.
In this sense, the mayor praised the work done by Juan Ruiz García and his fellow "Seed Fund", who work to restore this aspect of literature ever going to have more presence and host various cultural events.
Similarly, the association encouraged to continue working on the same line.
For his part, Juan Ruiz Garcia expressed his gratitude to the Department of Culture of the City of Totana, Encarna Almagro for the realization of the cover, and everyone who helped in the making of this book and all those who inspired him to write this book.
