The Municipal People's presented to regular full-December to be held on Tuesday 30, reaffirming the commitment of the City of Totana to Human Rights on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The popular group's spokesman, José Antonio Valverde Reina, explained that on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 10, 1948, the City Council wishes to express Totana its firm adherence to the ideas and values contained in that document of historical significance.
From the Municipal People believe that human rights have inspired the ideas of the vast majority of democratic political forces in Spain.
Therefore, as indicated by Valverde Queen, with this motion we show our support for these principles recognize dignity, freedom and equality of all human beings.
The popular group's spokesman has indicated that, at the national level, the Spanish Constitution is the best guarantee for the recognition and realization of the rights and freedoms of each and every one of the people and for the democratic life in Spain.
Also explained that, at the international level, should aspire to the rights enshrined in the Declaration are truly universal and that all human beings irrespective of any consideration of nationality, race, sex, language or religion, can fully enjoy of those rights and freedoms.
