The City Council, through the Local Government Board, has approved the certification of the works of installing an elevator in the school "Santa Eulalia" of Totana, which were allotted to the commercial "Hermanos Construcciones SA Palomares, amounting of EUR 47,134.83, to remove architectural barriers in the system and enhance its accessibility.
The completed works, as reported by the council of Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia Navarro, have involved the installation of an elevator to improve accessibility to public school, arranged over two floors.
This is a school that has ramps for access to the floor, but currently lacks access to the upper floor of the lift mechanism and some alternative, so it is necessary to give a lift to the center to facilitate accessibility.
