The councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion Tudela, has announced joint action lines established between the Association of Families and People with different addictions Totana, ATOFADE, and CERMA NGOs, to work together to continue the fight against drug addiction.
During the presentation of both entities, ATOFADE psychologist, Victoria Provencio, on behalf of the association, thanked the representatives of Cerma, the cooperation with its partners in the "difficult task" of rehabilitation, and Councilman Social Welfare for their support during these five years of experience.
For its part, the founder of Cerma, Joaquín Cegarra, accompanied by President of the organization in Cartagena, Felipe Ruiz, reported that this organization was founded in 1990 with the high demand for young people caught with drugs, developing a home program host to provide integrated support to people with this problem.

For its part, ATOFADE emerged five years ago in the town and consists of a group of parents providing help and support for families and patients suffering from dependencies and consequences of problems related to drugs, alcohol, gambling and consequences for different addictions.
The president of the association, Francisca Mirror, has reported that since the association provides information and advice on various rehabilitation centers, counseling and legal, family and individual therapy and support, and has appealed to the union of all relatives with this problem in the locality to join forces.
Also reported the meetings held on Saturdays from 6:00 to 20:00 at the headquarters of caritas parish, located on Calle Santiago, encouraging all citizens to take part in this partnership to tackle this problem.
