The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, accompanied by the councilman of Culture, Ana Belén García López, and more local authorities attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition of Nativity monumental "Art for Christmas," at the headquarters of the Brotherhood Calvary and the Holy Supper, located on San Antonio Street in the locality.
The traditional nativity scene, which is installed every year in the Sale of Los Pinos, during this holiday season, will be exhibited at the headquarters of the brotherhood, every day of the week until 6 January, and visitors can access the view that art crèche 17:00 to 21:00.
The inauguration of the crib, which had been most friendly, as they were entertained by the performance of the group "Charrasqueado" also featured a representative of the National Association of Belen in behalf of the President, since he could not attend because of health, and with a large attendance of people of all ages came to see the traditional nativity scene, nativity scene to the sale of Los Pinos, where they remain open to the public during every evening after five.
The crib, as he explained its author, Francisco Carrillo Periago, is divided into two floors: on the one hand, a representation of a manger in Bethlehem dioramas, each one showing an aspect of the coming of Jesus, on the other hand, Downstairs there is a wide variety of pictures showing various scenes of life in Judea, among other samples of the crib.
In addition, the author of Bethlehem, had words of praise and gratitude to the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Culture, Ana Belén García, who presented a commemorative gift.
Francisco also had words of thanks to the group's Charrasqueado for working selflessly for the last 17 years that it has been making the crib.
