The Department of Education, through the Municipal Service of Prevention and Control Truancy has launched a mediation service and advice for families with school-age children, which aims to provide the citizens of the municipality and a resource guide advice in situations of family conflict, parents and children acquiring a range of social skills for an improvement in the field of family relations.
This service is funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training, paying the expenses of personnel engaged, in this case being a psychologist who will conduct the proceedings of intergenerational and intercultural mediation with families.
The various actions of family mediation focusing on various aspects which are covered multiple areas for the mediation efforts, resolution of conflicts in the family, social skills, individualized intervention with families and children, including children and occupational classroom their families.
With the launch of this service, explained the Councillor for Education, Roque Molina, tries to identify the educational needs of families with young children presenting intergenerational and intercultural problems, guidance and advice, intervene and mediate with these families, providing them educational guidelines to help reduce intergenerational and intercultural problems and improve resources for families of children so that they themselves can solve these problems without any mediator.
