The incomparable setting of the chapel of Santa Eulalia hosted last night's premiere of the tenth edition of "The Journal of the Holy" coinciding with the start of the festivities in honor of Santa Eulalia, in a ceremony that included a large audience.
Responsible for presenting this publication were the mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the president of the Foundation of Santa and pastor of the church of Santiago, Francisco Fructuoso, and the coordinator of the notebooks, Juan Canovas Mulero, among other officials.
The event was attended by members of the team of government and municipal corporation, the trustees of the Foundation, Sisters of the Holy, representatives of business associations and local, as well as authors and contributors of the publication.
In this edition, the publication includes in its front page an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, who chairs the Mount annexed to the Sanctuary which this year celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of its inauguration and blessing.
The magazine, with the cooperation of the City, several savings institutions and private companies in the municipality, has this year with a total of 304 high quality pages and includes numerous pictures and illustrations, and includes more than thirty articles studies and reflections on the patron.
The mayor said the research, disclosure and dissemination of the cult eulaliense through "The Journal of The Holy" that contained several articles on the virgin, the Sanctuary, and the culture and customs of Totana.
It also highlighted the different actions that have been carried out through the Consistory and the Directorate General of Highways, in the surroundings of the Sanctuary and have upgraded the facilities of the complex.
Finally, Martínez Andreo thanked all the writers their collaboration in the magazine and called for continuing work for Santa Eulalia sparing no efforts to continue the ingrained devotion to our saint.
