The Sports Council of Totana and the Badminton Club organized last weekend School Badminton Tournament at the School Board, set in the program "Your Sport, Your Health", organized on the occasion of the Feast of Santa Eulalia, and in the School Sports Programme, which involved a total of 84 students from different schools in the locality.
The categories were called juvenile, infant, cadet and youth in the individual category, highlighting the involvement of pupils in the neighboring towns of Alhama and Aledo.
The tournament concluded with the presentation of trophies to the top three finishers from each of the categories, by the Councillor for Sports, José Antonio Valverde Queen, and the Badminton Club President Totana, Luis López.
Similarly, it is presented with a shirt to all participating schools.
The final winners of each category were: Jose Maria Mellado Cayuela (Colegio San Cristobal de Aledo) in juvenile male; Gabarrón Irene Lewis (Prince of Spain Colegio de Alhama) in juvenile female, Sergio Bravo Rosell (College La Milagrosa) in male children, Marina Pérez Esparza (IES Juan de la Cierva), in female child; Francisco Canovas Vidal (IES Prado Mayor) in male cadet, Raquel Garcia Madrid (IES Juan de la Cierva) in female cadet , Pedro Fernández Valero (IES Juan de la Cierva) in juvenile male and Laura Cerón Navarro (IES Miguel Hernández de Alhama).
All participating schools will also have the opportunity to participate in this school year in the School Championship in the Region of Murcia for schools, organized by the Directorate General of Sports, framed in the School Sports Programme, which organized two previous stages and the Regional Final to be held on 21 February.
