The totanero, Javier Baños Tudela, is part of that delegation, which is scheduled to visit Tindouf, carrying humanitarian aid, organizing trips for children to Spain and meet with the Minister of Cooperation and Development and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, whose representative is Polisario Front.
Javier Baños, Totana UI militant and member of the newly formed Youth Area IU, will accompany the delegation, called the Caravan for Peace, who every year visit the area to bring medicine and food to refugees and to organize the program "Holiday in Peace", by which the Sahrawi children visit Spain, it may take checkups, eating foods that do not have in the camps and save the hottest months of the Desert, with host families.
In addition to visiting schools, hospitals and refugee families, members of the delegation will meet with Hasama Salek Baba, a member of the Government of the SADR and coordinate cooperation and humanitarian aid in camps.
"One of the objectives of the trip is to denounce the state of oblivion to which they referred to the Saharawi people, refugees for decades in the wilderness of Tindouf, while Morocco blocks the self-determination referendum and the United Nations turns its back on the just demands of a people who have many things in common with Spain, and his tongue ..
