The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana, through the Municipal Immigration Service has launched a new project called "Meet Totana!" Which aims to facilitate and enhance access and participation of immigrants in the locality resources and services offered in the county, promoting the learning of them through guided tours of this service technicians.
The beneficiaries of this project are all concerned and especially those with little knowledge of services and resources offered by the municipality.
The duration of these routes are approximately 2 hours and during this time are offered to people with information on facilities and services that are offered are of interest to the immigrant population, such as City Hall, the SEF, the Municipal Participation Citizen, the Center for Social Services, Courts, Office of Consumer Sociocultural Center "Jail" and Adult Education Center, among other resources.
For the participants before starting the journey are given a map of Totana and some explanatory sheets of institutions that are visited and others that are of interest.
These tours take place every 15 days or so, and people who are interested in participating can register at the center of Social Services, located at Calle Santiago No. 1 (behind the church), or on the phone 968 418 092.
