Totana Local Police has handled over 120 cases to the Sanctions and Inspection Service of the Directorate General for Transport and Highways in the Autonomous Community of Murcia, for illegal transportation of passengers since 2007, of which half have been made this year.
The sectors most affected by this deceptive practice, police said, are the regular transport of passengers and the taxi industry, which have repeatedly denounced the conduct of these services usually irregular.
Control of this type of service is being done by local police officers in the bus station, next to supermarkets and places on record that perform these services.
The article is the 141.31 violation of the Law 16/87 of the Land Transport Management, which reads: "conduct a public passenger transport, lack of authorization to transport" and is punished to the owner of the vehicle with 1,501 euros.
