The jury of "I Art Contest for Equality Totana 2008" and "II Poster Competition Against Gender Violence" has made public the names of the winners / such as art competitions, organized by the Department of Women and Equal Opportunities to commemorate the International Day of Violence Against Women on 25 November.
These contests have been made to prevent all forms of discrimination and to sensitize the public to a change in the pattern of social relations between men and women who conceive a coexistence without violence, said the mayor responsible for the area, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez.
Regarding the "I Art Contest for Equality Totana 2008", the jury of the Councillor for Women, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, a technique of the municipal department, a representative of the City of Totana, a representative Municipal Council for Equal Opportunity, and a local artist, agreed in the form of sculpture, consisting of 500 euros, reward the play "Same-da," Conception of Moral Navarro.
