Totana City Council has signed the permit with ADIF, the Railway Infrastructure Manager, which gives green light to the construction of the passage of rainwater drainage under the railroad tracks, driving process in the Olympic neighborhood.
Work will commence during the day and is expected to be completed in three weeks.
The Councillor for Planning and Sustainable Development, María José Bedia, has welcomed the signing of this document, the project aims to prevent rain water from flooding the houses of the neighbors, since, in this way, lead back and disposed of by piling.
The Hall has installed a collector who will join the existing storm water system from the Avenida Juan Carlos I to the same development of the scale and the channel to pass under the railway, in order to avoid the risk of flooding of homes on the streets Mayas, Incas, Aztecs and Orellana, inter alia, preventing the railroad act as prey when water retention.
