The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, has announced the new protocols of the local police units, in the process of modernization and reorganization of the body being made by the Public Safety area.
Thus reported the launch of a squad of local police would step up the surveillance in neighborhoods, in order to provide a more personalized service to local residents.
The implementation of the Local Police patrol, which aims to improve safety and prevent crime, and held daily services will be held mainly in the afternoon at random in each urban neighborhoods with in order to contact and communicate with neighbors, to enter business premises and identify and make parts for damage to municipal infrastructure in each of these neighborhoods.
The Councillor for Traffic and Public Safety, Roque Molina, explained the working lines have been launched to improve the local police service provided to citizens, in order to specialize units and strengthen the presence of agents and patrols in the neighborhoods of the city.
The objective is to modernize the organization and procedures of the local police to ensure greater responsiveness to the needs and structure of both the city and its characteristics.
The main objectives are to respond more quickly to the demand for police services and greater expertise in addressing the problems of security and offer a closeness to the citizens.
In this regard, the mayor explained that this initiative has been launched after several meetings with neighbors and representatives of social and commercial groups that filed this lawsuit Totana.
