Police seize 246 Totana Local 164 CDs and DVDs and a number of counterfeits in the arrest of two individuals for alleged crimes against intellectual property and counterfeiting
On the one hand, the Local Police of Totana, proceeded to the arrest of an individual whose initials stand for MY, a native of Senegal for an alleged offense against intellectual property.
The incident occurred when officers were conducting a routine patrol in the San Antonio streets of this town, and noted that in a bar a person was carrying a gray backpack and a bag of black.
The officers entered the premises and found that this individual was trying to sell CD'sa three euros, so they proceeded to the arrest of himself and the confiscation of 246 CDs of 164 DVD's.
In addition, agents were able to verify that this person came in Spain in a boat that was located off the coast of Gran Canaria in January 2007.
On the other hand, the Local Police agents Totana also proceeded to the arrest of RRN, a native of Bolivia, for an alleged crime of counterfeiting.
The incident occurred when police were alerted by a waiter in a local bar who said a client had given him several times more tickets 20 euros which seemed false.
The officers immediately presented themselves in this establishment, and ascertained that all suspected counterfeit banknotes, (8 tickets 20 euros), bore the same serial number, so we proceeded to arrest the individual.
