On November 2 took place on the island of Gran Canaria the fifth and final round of the Championship of Spain and His Majesty the King Cup.
The test, whose first round was scheduled to be 180 miles to give two full turns to the island, had to be shortened by the organization due to bad sea conditions.
The output is made from Anfi del Mar to Arinaga and finally gave participants three times in the southern part of the island and took a total of 120 miles.
The starting grid was formed thirty drivers from all over the Spanish geography.
As a direct consequence of the poor condition of the sea, which considerably tightened the test, there were numerous mechanical failures that led to abandon the race by some of the pilots involved.
The first in F1 was for totanero Antonio Costa, who finished the test with a great effort to have injured his back in the first round, followed by Valencia and the Canary Alberto Quevedo Fabian Gil.
Peter Swords was the winner in F2 followed by Galicia and Canary Limoner Pablo Gil Aday.
Francisco Sanchez, the other participant of Totana F2, was forced to abandon the race after his machine fail in the first round.
Totana driver was more than three hours at sea waiting for rescue team to bring him to shore.
Despite his bad luck in this test, Francisco has been third championship in its class.
Antonio Costa has been champion of Spain in the Queen category F1 after this test, then just before competing separated him from the first 12 points, the Basque Iñigo Martínez.
