The Technology Center of Crafts (CTA) located in Totana and belonging to the Network of Technological Centres in the Region of Murcia driven INFO participate in Science Week 2008, which will take place on the Malecon Garden Murcia from 6 to 9 this November with activities as unique as explained from the kinetic point of view the operation of a jug.
This traditional handicraft product of Totana be exposed in the stand of the Network of Technological Centres in their traditional versions of road and as a pitcher, so that all visitors can watch them and wonder why the water loses temperature when it remains true time inside, know the factors that influence the cooling water jug or curiosities such as saving more energy over its lifecycle than it consumes in its manufacturing process.
And in addition, participants in the activities of this stand will be presented with a small jug with an excellent presentation and a reminder of its operation.
Also noteworthy is that the CTA, through the researcher totanero José María Baños, will be awarded the third prize of scientific poster to be delivered at the opening of Science Week.
The paper by Baños is a reflection of the research work being carried out in the CTA, in this case specifically referred to the development of new products by introducing artificial glass stone, so that the finish wins in color and design.
