The City Council receives a grant amounting to â‚¬ 9,000 to provide equipment and furniture to the agencies and offices of Socio-Cultural Center "La Carcel" (06/11/2008)

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the Directorate General for Cultural Promotion, has recently awarded a grant to the City Council of Totana, amounting to 8,962 euros, which will go towards providing equipment and office furniture to the municipal offices located in Sociocultural Center "Jail."

This grant is framed under the assumptions that the Autonomous local government grants for investment in infrastructure and facilities of theaters, concert halls and other cultural centers.

Currently units Sociocultural Center "Jail" house the offices of the Department of Youth, Youth Housing, Celebration, Culture, Children and Education, the European Voluntary Service, in addition to the municipal library, study hall and municipal crÃ¨che.
