The Sectoral Council for Sport in the last general meeting of all members agreed to hold the Sports Gala on the 12th of next December in the center Sociocultural "Jail" at nine o'clock at night.

The meeting was chaired by the Councillor for Sports, José Antonio Valverde Queen, and had the presence of more than thirty representatives of various local sports clubs, who addressed issues related to the celebration of the Sports Gala.

During the gala celebration will proceed to the awards in order to assess the performance of sports-related businesses, individuals, organizations and local athletes.

The Sectoral Council also agreed to charge admission to ten euros to cover the cost of refreshments will be offered later, and established a schedule of meetings and votes to the Gala.

Also, the council informed of budget cuts that will directly affect the organization and staging of this traditional gala, which initially will have no musical performances, or great scenery, and you may not have the participation of a comedian / presenter.

On the other hand, Valverde Queen informed them that they are putting together the 2009 budget, noting that given the economic situation, "there are difficulties in maintaining the amount of subsidies for next year, but did not confirm the cuts.
