The councilman of Promotion and Employment, Trinidad Cayuela Crespo, welcomed the participants of the Spanish-Italian joint subcommittee, which is located in the town since last Thursday, on the premises of the Centre for Local Development in order to know about the services and facilities located on the same site to check the employment programs carried out.
This meeting of a group of professionals who perform a meeting in Totana to promote the insertion of young people in relation to the environment and sustainable development, is part of the Mixed Sub-program cooperation on youth is done through the Institute for the Region of Murcia and whose purpose is to encourage the exchange of good practices among youth field technicians.
Among the objectives is to develop programs in employment and thus arises the realization of this exchange, presented under the theme "Youth Job placement, new professional profiles in relation to the environment and sustainable development" and that conducted in collaboration with the Department of Environment.
From City of Totana has been made in recent years a considerable effort to improve the working conditions of youth in the municipality.
This will have created numerous services and programs to improve existing shortcomings: job insecurity, need to innovate the youth labor market and search for new sources of employment, among other things.
