Totana City Council signed a cooperation agreement with the Foundation Cibervoluntarios "for the development of recruitment and training program for rural Cybervolunteer to streamline call centers located in different districts of the town.
This initiative will be presented to Parliament which will be held on Tuesday 28 October by the council for New Technologies, Trini Cayuela, who explained that Cibervoluntarios Foundation is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to use new technologies as a means to solve social problems in the background.
He added that it is "a foundation composed of atypical social entrepreneurs passionate world of New Technologies, Communication and Volunteering, work, day after day, to ensure that all people are alike the opportunity to access know and use new technologies to overcome the digital divide and promote the knowledge society. "
The signing of this agreement is to establish and develop the project in all Center Sociodigital RAITOTANA classrooms.
Sociodigital Center project is based on achieving a space equipped with the infrastructure and tools necessary to access new technologies as a means to facilitate the solution of social problems of substance in their immediate environment and promote the use of new technologies
Totana City Council has a project called RAITOTANA, Computer Rooms Network that brings together several telecentres spread out throughout the county, such as the Paretón, Lebor, Raiguero High and Low, Balsa Vieja, Barrio San Francisco and Center Occupational and other computer rooms called Walas in Parral, Jail, Centre for Local Development and Citizen Participation.
