The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana, through the Immigration Service, has launched a training workshop and reinforcement in the Spanish language, in order to eliminate barriers to coexistence and communication between different cultures municipality.
The workshop participants are divided into two groups, one is exclusively for women, in which 15 people attended all of Moroccan origin.
These classes are held on Thursdays from 16:00 to 18:00 at the offices of the Department of Citizen Participation.
The other group targeted by the workshop of the Spanish classes, consists of 8 persons, among which are 3 Moroccan men and women and 5 men Bulgarian and Lithuanian.
Classes for this group develop over Wednesday from 19:00 to 21:00 hours in the same place.
In addition to the reinforcement in the Spanish language classes alternate with computer workshops, social skills and health education with the goal of full formal basic skills to achieve an acceptable integration.
The deadline for participation is open, so people who are interested can request information from the Social Services Center in the C / Santiago n º 1 (behind the church).
