Local police officers arrested in Totana yesterday morning, Oct. 15, an individual whose initials correspond to CO, a native of Nigeria, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of counterfeiting currency and Ring.
According to police sources, the Chief of Police received a phone call from a neighbor who alerted to the description of a black guy who was trying to make purchases in different positions of the market with counterfeit $ 50.
The Police were able to locate that individual, thank to cooperation of citizens, on a street adjacent to the market, and Upon noticing the police presence threw several counterfeit bills under a parked tourism.
Next, Local Police Officers moved into the market area where they located three merchants to which this individual had allegedly purchased with a fake $ 50 bill.
The individual was arrested and made available to the Guardia Civil.
